Meet Wendy: your virtual AI assistant at OfficeRnD Workplace

Resolve Workplace questions in seconds, with a human ready to step in when you need one.

Written by Yasen Marinov

Wendy is OfficeRnD's AI support assistant for Workplace. She's built on Fin AI, Intercom's large language model, and trained on OfficeRnD's Workplace knowledge base. Wendy handles most Workplace support questions on her own. When she can't, she hands off to a human specialist who has your full conversation history.

You don't need to phrase questions in any special way. Wendy understands natural language, so write the way you'd write to a colleague. The tips below give Wendy the context she needs to skip follow-up questions and get straight to the answer.

The name "Wendy" comes from the product she supports. The "W" stands for "Workplace."

Tips for better conversations with Wendy

Be specific about what you're trying to do

Vague questions get general answers. If you're having trouble with a specific feature or workflow, say so.

  • Instead of "I need help with bookings," try: "How do I set desk booking rules for my team in Workplace?"

  • Instead of "I need help with visitors," try: "How do I set up visitor check-in for a same-day guest in Workplace?"

Include error messages when you have them

If something broke, paste the exact error message into your message. Wendy can cross-reference it against known issues much faster than if you describe the error in general terms.

Instead of "I'm getting an error," try: "I'm getting error 502 when updating desk booking settings."

Mention what you've already tried

This tells Wendy where you are in the troubleshooting process and prevents it from suggesting steps you've already taken.

Instead of "It's not working," try: "I already tried refreshing the page and logging out, but the error still appears on the visitor check-in settings page."

Ask one question at a time

Wendy handles multi-part questions, but a single focused question gets a cleaner, more complete answer. If you have several issues, start with the most pressing one and follow up once it's resolved.

If Wendy's answer doesn't help

Try rephrasing with more detail. For example: "I asked about setting up desk booking rules, but the answer was too general. Can you walk me through the steps in Workplace?"

If your issue is urgent or you need a human specialist, say so directly. Type "Give me a human" at any time, or Wendy will escalate automatically if the conversation calls for it.
